Europe’s Navigator

Developed by Noosphere the CupNavigator system clung to the Europeans’ soul. FAI and the general partner of the Ukrainian Spacemodelling Federation agreed work in cooperation.

The presentation for the CupNavigator scoring system took place at the general meeting of FAI office in Lausanne (Switzerland). This application helps manage data sheets and provides transparent score calculations. Yuriy Letser, the creator and implementator of this project in Noosphere (COO Noosphere Nest) demonstrated the site online for FAI IT manager, Visa-Matti Leinikki and FAI Sports and Marketing Director Markus Haggeney.

A panel of FAI experts tested demo accounts to see how they would work for each potential user. The panel was made up of organizers and competitors of all levels of competitions. CupNavigator is able to handle any type of amateur rocketry competitions and includes many features such as managing team and member applications, and even displaying the results of each competitor sportsmen across multiple events. The most value thing this system nbrings to the table is the scoring system transparency, which is available online in real time eliminating human error by referees and keeps the competitions fair.
A unified scoring and data management system for all FAI disciplines is a hot topic. Which is why several specialists from other fields are also interested in working with Noosphere to extend CupNavigator’s functionality to allow it to work with other aeronautic and hi-tech sports.
