We are announcing the start of registration on Ukraine Rocketry Challenge! Take your chance to win $3500!

Ukraine Rocketry Challenge is a national competition for spacemodelling sports fans that will be held on May, 19 in Chernihiv (airfield location 51°26’41.8″N 31°18’32.7″E).

The prize fund of $3500 will be split between 3 winning teams. To participate in an international tournament, both professional rocket modelers and beginners are allowed. Don’t miss a chance to participate in the spectacular competition!

The organizers of the event are Ukraine Spacemodelling Sport Federation and Association Noosphere.

The teams of three people each, aged 11-18, are allowed to participate in the competition. All team members must have insurance policies relevant to the duration of the competition.

In order to participate, the team has to:

– fill out a preliminary application https://goo.gl/9V8vsN (till 07.05.2018!)
– send a completed application form for participation in competitions https://goo.gl/qhn3wT
– pay a down payment of $50.

The program:

9:00 – 11:00 — Ukraine Rocketry Challenge participants registration on the Chernihiv airfield
14:30 – 15:15 — presentation of models by the sports team
15:15 – 15:45 — teams preparation for the first round: obtaining altimeters, payload, models equipment
15:45 – 16:15 — the 1 round of the Ukraine Rocketry Challenge. Models launch
16:30 – 17:00 — teams preparation for the second round: obtaining altimeters, payload, models equipment
17:30 – 18:00 — the 2 round of the Ukraine Rocketry Challenge. Models launch
18:30 – 19:00 — awarding ceremony.

The three best teams at the competition will compete for the prize fund of $ 3500 (90000 Ukrainian hryvnias). The winning team will have the opportunity to participate in the International Rocketry Challenge, which will be held on 19 and 20 May in London.
