Alexander P. Lipetskiy
Alexander has been engaged in space modelling since 1965. He was a participant and medal-winner of the USSR Championships for space models, a coach of combined teams of the USSR and Ukraine within the period between 1980 and 1997. Since 1981 he holds a position of Chairman in Spacemodelling Committee at the Federation of Aeronautical Sports of Ukraine. Honored coach of Ukrainian SSR.
History of Department
Kiev Regional branch had been actively operating within the period between 1980 and 1997. After closing of spacemodelling laboratory at Ukrainian State Centre of Scientific and Technical Creativity operational activity of the branch became irregular. Kiev city hosts championships for space models for juniors.
