Spacemodelling hobby group commenced its operational activity in 2005 at Junior Technicians Center in Zolochev town, Lvov Region, under the leadership of Ivan Karpluk. In 2006 a team of Junior Technicians Center won the first place at regional spacemodelling competitions. Since 2007 combined team of Junior Technicians Center of Zolochev town has been representing Lvov Region at spacemodelling competitions of All-Ukrainian level. In 2008 Lvov Centre of Spacemodelling Sport Federation of Ukraine has been established based on spacemodelling hobby group, which combined the leaders, coaches and pupils of regional spacemodelling hobby groups. In 2009 a team of Lvov Region won M.I.Kibalchich Cup in Konotop town. In 2010-2012 – silver medal-winner, in 2013 –bronze medal-winner of All-Ukrainian spacemodelling youth competitions. In 2011-2012 – the second place in the Championship of Ukraine for space models for juniors. Within the period of last three years pupils of the group have been included into the national junior team of Ukraine. In 2013 Roman Mukha won the second team place as a member of national junior team of Ukraine at the European Championship. The following athletes became Candidate Masters of sports: Roman Mukha, Vitaliy Protsyk, Vadim Varkhiv. According to the results of the Ukrainian cup-final for space models Vadim Varkhiv reached a qualifying standard for Master of Sports of Ukraine.
