One sky. One World. One Ukraine.

This Sunday rockets, airplanes and … kites flew in the sky over Kherson. Modelers of different fields united to participate in the world famous peacekeeping campaign “One Sky. One World.”

The idea of “air flash mob” belongs to the citizen of United States – Jane Parker Ambrose. She was the first to launch kite of her own design in 1985 in honor of the historic meeting of the Presidents Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev.

The necessity of protecting the peaceful sky at this time is particularly clear for Kherson patriots, including aeromodellers and spacemodellers. Therefore, kites – traditional participants of the “One Sky. One World “- were accompanied by models of rockets and gliders. Airspace of Kherson this weekend was shared by more than a hundred of different models in total.
