The new status

The Spacemodelling Sport Federation of Ukraine, with the support of general partner Noosphere, took part in a contest at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. From now on the federation will have the prefix “National”.

This decision was made at a Ministry meeting on Monday, April 20th. The Commission considered the applications of sixteen non-Olympic sports federations, including five that, like amateur rocketry, represented aeronautical sports.

The Spacemodelling Sport Federation of Ukraine had been preparing for the competition since it was announced on March 17, 2015. All the necessary material was prepared by Noosphere specialists.

After the presentation, the members of the ministerial committee had no doubt that our federation was worthy of national status. Our close sister organization, the Federation of Gliding and Parachuting, was also granted this honor.
