Peace rocket engines has being started. Lviv has initiated preparations to European Championships.

The first organizing committee meeting took place in the end of January.

The main issue was a point about works on the airfield of 2015 FAI European Championships.

The pointed field lays on territory of two villages, Velyki Hrybovychi and Gryady, within 5 km from Lviv downtown. Experienced sportsmen-modelers approved this place after attentive research: they learned many items, including wind direction and disposition of the road.

The representatives of Lviv regional Department of Youth and Sport Affairs promised organizers of continental competitions to give full support. The Department’s Head Yuriy Mayboroda acquainted all relevant agencies chiefs with representatives of Spacemodelling Sport Federation and its General Partner Noosphere. While Sport Airfield will grow on the territory of Zhovkva region, thence government personalities are providing deep cooperation with Lviv Administration. Actually all levels are ready to work.

After committee meeting the participants were talking to journalists. Igor Volkanov, the Federation President told about spacemodelling sport philosophy. And partners explained medias that in the huge Noosphere family, this social project exists because of specific intellectual patriotism. The spacemodelling sport being technological sport will help educate more talented design engineers in Ukraine.

Recall that it was Noosphere that won the right for Ukraine to hold 2015 FAI European Championships for Space Models and 2016 FAI Word Championships as well in FAI headquarters (Switzerland).
