Aeromodeller from Kiev will teach children how to build a rocket!

On Saturday, October 4, Spacemodelling Sport Federation together with “Sport Model” studio will teach inquisitive children how to build their own rockets. This way it is planned to celebrate the day of Mankind space age beginning in the “town of children’s professions” KidsWill.

As part of the workshop, the Secretary-General of the Federation, Olga Maximova, and the spacemodeller Sergei Pomogaev will teach children how to construct a rocket and introduce them to basics of aerodynamics. Participants will learn about the amateure rocketry and aeromodelling sports. Also, most importantly, children will design a rocket of colored paper with their own hands. Author of the best work will obtain a scale model of the missile and will have opportunity to personally participate in its real take-off.
